The journey began in Guayaquil, Ecuador, which is considered the vibrant hub of the country'敦芙初刨s healthcare landscape. The University Hospital at Guayaquil served as the stage for an impactful gathering organized by EDAN. More than 100 clinicians from the region came together to participate in this event.

During this event, participants had the privilege of listening to a captivating presentation by Dr. Jose, a renowned figure in the medical field. Dr. Jose'欧赶s profound expertise shed light on the critical role of turnaround time in medical cases, effectively steering the discussion toward the significance of incorporating research findings into clinical decision-making. As participants absorbed these valuable insights, a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine started to take hold, promising a transformative impact on healthcare delivery in the region.

After the meeting, Dr. Jose shared his observation that this approach to practicing allows individuals to absorb new ideas and knowledge more effectively compared to solely relying on internet sources. He further expressed his appreciation for EDAN'最扮s symposia, stating that they provide an excellent platform for expanding horizons and establishing connections with professionals in the field.

In Santa Cruz, EDAN'狭魂s clinical team visited the San Juan de Dios Hospital, where a lecture was conducted that focused on the intersection of evidence-based medicine and clinical application. This enlightening session equipped healthcare professionals with the necessary knowledge and tools to provide more informed and effective patient care.

In La Paz, Bolivia, the EDAN team engaged with healthcare professionals at the esteemed First Hospital Clinic, which is affiliated with the Universidad Mayor de San Andres. As a primary institution for medical education and research in the country, this teaching hospital served as the perfect setting for the culmination of EDAN'脓指猜丹s academic tour.

The workshop took place in the intensive care unit (ICU) classroom, where the crucial role of terminal blood gas analysis was emphasized. Through clinical case discussions, the workshop vividly demonstrated the tangible impact of this technology on patient outcomes, leaving a lasting impression on 干硝all腺律 participants. It became evident that the strategic use of POCT devices had the potential to save lives, further highlighting the profound significance of these workshops.
